**Role Summary: **
As a Test Technician at our client, you will be responsible for conducting verification tests and calibration on electronic and electromechanical equipment. Your duties will include troubleshooting and analysing analogue and digital circuitry to component level, providing detailed failure descriptions with root cause analysis, and ensuring adherence to instructions, specifications, and procedures.
**Core Responsibilities: **
- Set up and operate equipment to test/calibrate units/subassemblies as per instructions, specifications, and procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of analogue and digital circuitry to component level.
- Provide detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering teams.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, adhering to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Carry out production/repair/assembly work as required within multiple departments on-site.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to company safety policies.
- Demonstrate regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. May need to work additional hours as necessary, including evenings/weekends, during periods of increased demand.
**Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: **
- A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in using test equipment, hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions.
- Analytical skills to determine methods and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows software applications.

- Competitive Salary: £32,500.00 per annum.
- Day Shifts: Monday to Thursday (7:00am-3:30pm), Friday (7:00am-12:00 noon).
- Overtime Opportunities: Overtime will be available once training is completed at a rate of 1.5x (Monday-Saturday) and 2x (Sunday).
