About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join FTSE 250 International company specializing in components and sub-systems for the Aerospace, Defense and Energy markets. Working closely with their customers, my Client delivers technologically differentiated systems and products with high certification requirements in aerospace, defence and selected energy markets.

My Client provides 24/7 AOG, M.R.O., technical, military, or civil parts & spares.

Using your experience, you will:

  • Plans, schedules, and monitors the production cycle, following company instructions
  • staff requirements for production schedules, coordinates, monitors and trains all production staff
  • Coordinates the efficient movement of production to meet area requirements
  • Applies process specifications governing the production of the product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity data at the cell
  • Performs complex precision assembly by written, visual and verbal instruction
  • Conducts Inspections of own and other associates' work to ensure correctness following company and customer drawing
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

What experience do I need?

You will have a secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

We would also like to experience the following:

Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in a related field

Years Experience: 3 years or more of relevant experience depending on the complexity level of the job

Skills

  • Experience in planning, scheduling and monitoring production cycles
  • Capable of performing complex mechanical or electromechanical assembly operations
  • Good organizational skills - activities in the production cycle
  • Practical verbal and written communication skills
  • methods and procedures
  • Skilled problem-solver: Exercises judgment based on previous experience, practices and precedents to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent
  • Able to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
