Role: Supply Chain Coordinator / Administrator

Location: Brentford / remote (3 days on site per week)

Duration: Initially until April 2022

Rate: Up to £18/hour (aia Umbrella)


As a Supply Chain Co-ordinator, your primary focus for the role is on the importing and exporting of goods globally throughout our supply chain, including responsibility for the supporting invoicing and clearance activities. You'll need to be a self-motivated candidate committed to continuous improvement and self-development, who has the ability to analysis and work with large data sets identifying key insights and decision points. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are needed, as well as the ability to build strong credible relationships and influence key stakeholders/customers/suppliers.


What you'll do:
· Engage closely with the global freight control tower and inventory planning teams to plan and analyse the inbound schedule of goods and process documents involved with the import and export of goods
· Regular reporting and analysis to review supplier and carrier performance, including reviewing requests and costing for air and sea freight and approving invoices from carriers
· Accurately prepare all relevant documentation including BTI and tariff codes as well as liaising with carriers and customs agents to support the clearance of goods within agreed SLAs
· Track receipt of goods into all markets and manage administration of supporting documents and invoices through monthly consolidation processes
· Reviewing and managing delivery schedules and order books for both internal and external suppliers


What you'll bring:
· Experience within a supply chain environment or other faced paced environment
· Good Microsoft Office skills - (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
· Team focused and adaptable with a flexible and agile approach to cover other Supply Planning activities as required as well as willing to take on responsibilities, such as leading projects and supporting cross-functional initiatives
· Experienced in reporting & presentations
· Excellent communication skill across all levels of the business and with external partners


Where you'll work:
Our location takes some beating: we're practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there's some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.
