Role summary:

My client is looking for a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in conducting monthly inspections, ensuring fault reporting processes are understood, and maintaining a record of all inspections carried out. Assisting in stock checks and maintaining an audit trail will also be part of your essential duties.


  • Expected to carry out receipt and recording of all incoming goods and issue all parts from the component store
  • Conduct all tasks related to the raw materials store, tooling store, hazardous goods store, embodiment loan and repair components store
  • Carry out all tasks related to the packing and despatching of all goods from the site
  • Responsible for maintaining and tracking inventory levels as instructed
  • Ensuring that the store is clean and well-maintained is another important aspect of the job
  • Required to carry out driving duties and other stores- related tasks as delegated by the Stores Supervisor

Skills, knowledge, and abilities

  • Proven experience of working within a similar store's environment
  • Experience of working with "Lean" manufacturing process would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate - with the likes of Word & Excel
  • Stock control methods, MRP/ERP systems
  • Well organised, detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong team player
