Jefferson wells are recruiting for a Project Procurement specialist on a permanent basis, to join a global, market leading defence business on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Procurement manager, this role is responsible for supply chain requirements with procurement, equipment overhaul & repair.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in leading on some very exciting projects in a growing team, who are expecting to double their headcount as a result of growth.
What will you be doing?

  • Designing & engaging the supply chain to meet project requirements
  • Contract & supplier management, to maximise performance
  • Improving supplier performance in regards to time, cost & quality
  • Establishing project requirements for current & future bid pipeline

What are we looking for?

  • Experience procurement/supply chain professional
  • Background in manufacturing/defence or professional services
  • Experienced in leading on negotiation with suppliers with regard to price, performance, t&c's & lead times
  • Previous experience of working in project orientated role.
