Job Role: Market & Competitor Insight Manager
Salary - Competitive base with Car Allowance, Bonus and flex benefits
Location - Remote working but UK wide travel as required

About the role:
Here at Manpower Talent Solutions we are currently looking for an experienced market or data research professional to join us to provide our longstanding Customer with high quality market intelligence to support decision making through business advice and to form the basis for campaign marketing decisions.

You will be working alongside our Customer to provide marketing support and data in regards to the recruitment of key skills, overview of talent availability and competitor analysis. This accurate market intelligence will support our Customer in decision making.

Some key responsibilities will be:
* Build and maintain a suite of tools which gives access to high quality targetable market information
* Produce high quality market insights that are data driven and support the triage process
* Provide consistent salary benchmark data for use by the delivery & business development areas
* Provide comprehensive & accurate Babcock competitor profiles and develop an overall market map
* Providing insights to our recruitment teams to inform their recruitment strategy
* Research all businesses within the vertical and produce top-down organisational charts and potential strategic recruitment target lists
* Support the Resource function in driving work force planning activities to minimise time to hire
* Work with marketing to create in-depth candidate sourcing strategies to support across various mediums, e.g. LinkedIn, Job boards and Databases
* When required represent the Babcock account at external networking events
* Develop strong relationships with Recruitment Solutions Partners and support them in their advisory role with the business

What do I need for this role?
Knowledge & skills required:
* Proven experience in using external research tools and internal data to build a compelling argument for client presentation
* Experience in developing long term, mutually beneficial business relationships to senior level
* A methodical, organised approach to developing market maps and an eye for maintaining updates on key details and changes in data
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into readable formats via spreadsheets, databases etc
* The ability to present findings to senior managers internal and external
* The ability to work collaboratively within a busy team and maintain focus when working to tight timescales
* Must be able to produce factually correct, accurate BI delivered in a professional client centric format
* Ability to produce qualitative and quantitative data reports.
* Recruitment experience not essential.
* Providing insights to our recruitment teams to inform their recruitment strategy
* Highly computer literate with excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint.
* Visio experience desirable but not essential

This position comes with a competitive base salary, car allowance, annual bonus, pension and flex benefits. It is available for remote working but will require flexibility to travel within the UK - both to internal meetings and also to client sites as required.
