Insurance Courier Administrator

Chelmsford/Hybrid Remote Working

12-week initial contract (with potential temp to perm)

Pay: up to £100 per day PAYE

  • We are looking for an administrator to work on the courier scheme as we build a proposition to replace our current courier service.
  • This person will be working in more of an administrative / telesales environment to renew individual couriers, and then deal with day-to-day processing and queries once they're onboard
  • No particular experience needed as will be trained to handle the couriers on the job, however some insurance exposure would be beneficial

Key Accountabilities

  • Liaising with insurers and obtaining renewal terms
  • Retaining agreed proposition of courier clients
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to client instructions requests and enquiries at all times
  • Being available to deal with client calls & emails
  • Producing quotations for renewals / mid-term changes and new business and placing cover for the client
  • Conforming fully to all statutory and regulatory obligation.
  • Conforming fully with operational policies, processes and procedures
  • Adhering to client control directives to ensure accounting deadlines are met
  • Maintaining accurate records and producing relevant documentation

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous high volume call handling experience
  • Administration experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to insurance products is beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided
