I am working with a highly regarded art publishing business who are in need of a Part Time Finance Manager to join the team. They are a small but well established business, and this will be a very wide, all rounded role, accountable for all aspects of the finance function as well as top level strategic work providing support to the Managing Director.

With support from the office administrator, you will manage annual audits, company banking, and full sets of financial statements. You will be involved in the commercial aspects of the business's finance including budgeting, forecasting, and providing key analysis for decision making.

Key responsibilities:

Accounting functions

Production of management, financial and statutory accounts

Audit files

Maintenance of nominal ledger

Monthly bank reconciliations

Monthly control accounts

Managing cash flow

Managing inter-company balances

Monitoring the financial aspect of subscription reporting

Financial Reporting

VAT and IOSS returns

Charity Commission returns

PAYE administration


Collate, check and process information for monthly salaries

Administer Group Pension Plan

Administer any employment benefits and performance-based commissions

Group Investments

Investment performance reporting

With the MD and Treasurer, liaising with fund managers

You will ideally be a qualifies accountant with experience working within SMEs having had full end to end responsibility of the finance function. Experience with Xero is an additional bonus. This role is ideal for someone looking for a new challenge with more flexibility.
