I am working with a rapidly scaling entertainment business who are seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join the newly created FP&A team. You will support:
- Translating the company's strategy into financial targets. This will require developing a deep understanding of the business model and D2C platform side
- Assist with the multi-year financial model and using the model to support the planning and forecasting processes across the company. This includes modelling and scenario analyses of operational and financial metrics
- Working closely with the financial controllership team, conduct detailed analysis of monthly performance/variance and produce monthly reporting pack for management and the board
- Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts by projects and expense types and work with financial controllership team to reconcile to actuals
- Ad-hoc projects such as business cases preparation, project profitability analysis, capex payback analysis and various scenario planning exercises
- Author presentations to document and communicate business strategy and decisions for internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively identify and recommend strategies to improve the financial performance
Requirements:
- Experience in a strategy / analytical role for a fast growing tech/media company
- Strong financial modelling and analysis experience using Excel/Google Sheets, SQL knowledge is a bonus
- Able to think critically and out-of-box, comfortable with challenging the status quo and navigating unknown/uncertainty
- Can easily transition between the "big picture" and diving deep into the detail
- Strong team player / business partner with ability to work across different regions and non-finance colleague
