My client is a leading British technology company and truck manufacturer, best known for its zero-emission Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and hydrogen fuel cell range-extended vehicles. This is an organisation that create technology because it matters and makes a difference to humanity. They are moving the world towards a better way of transporting everything to everyone. With government and private investment backing, this company is now 8 years old and in full swing of manufacturing electrical trucks, with exceptional growth plans.

The Role:

Working in the Events Sector is always exciting let alone working for upcoming innovative company! Your role will be to ensure all events (such as trade shows, VIP visits, product launches and internal engagement events) are managed and executed to the highest standard to drive maximum benefit to the business.

You will be the face of the brand and as well as ensuring events are achieved in a controlled, timely manner without avoidable disruption to the flow of activity. You will have the creative freedom to make your own mark on the events ensuring maximum publicity and success.


We are looking for an outgoing and approachable who has proven experience in event and project management - ideally within the automotive industries, however experience brought from transferable industries is also welcome. You will need experience in managing multiple stakeholders and experience of influencing individuals at senior levels to ensure success. Your previous experience must include assisting when sourcing and negotiating event related services for example possible venues or transportation. You must be a proactive critical thinker who can prioritise, set goals, and adapt in a dynamic environment. Having exceptional attention to detail is very important. As well as the ability to learn quickly and work away from home occasionally.

A degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have three-five years of previous event managing and planning experience.
