They are looking for an experienced and motivated Development Engineer with substantial industry knowledge to join their team at their Cambourne site where they are developing cutting-edge microscopy solutions.

The Role:

As a Development Engineer, you will play an essential role in the product development process.

You will:

  • Contribute to the development of new and existing products and processes
  • Generate technical improvements and solutions
  • Maintain system and programming specifications to meet manufacturing and quality needs during series production

What do you need for the role?

Essential:

  • Degree educated in relevant engineering discipline (electronic/electrical etc.)
  • Proven problem-solving capability with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to effectively lead projects while adhering to timescales

Desirable:

  • Manufacturing engineering experience (electrical/electronic/etc.)
  • Experience with the development and implementation of new products
  • Knowledge and experience of engineering change-management processes
  • Excellent time-management and analytical skills

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated in relevant engineering discipline (electronic/electrical etc.)
  • ISO-9001
