Colleague Services HR Administrator

Duration: 6 months

Location: Bristol - 5 days a week in the office

Pay: £14.50 an hour Inside IR35 Umbrella

37 hours a week

The Role

You will be working for a leading multinational Telecommunications company.

In this role you will be working to achieve the best experiences possible for the employees of the company.

You will be the key support function to complete HR processes, transactions and generally support our colleagues through the whole colleague lifecycle. This a multi-skilled role where you will complete a variety of activities depending on the demand at the time, allowing you to have a great breadth of knowledge across HR policies and processes.


  • Communicating with new joiners into the business by being their point of contact to answer any questions and provide them with any vital information needed
  • Tracking the on-boarding of new starters, ensuring they are set to start.
  • When colleagues decide to leave the business, you will ensure everything is completed before their exit date.
  • Completing administrative activities aligned to a colleagues pay, sick pay and contracts and ensuring they are processed efficiently
  • Completing transactions in salary changes, role code changes, one-off payments and internal company move contracts.
  • To learn in Reward processes and policies to complete Reward queries/cases and raise anything complex to the HR SME.
  • Contribute to the delivery of objectives and service level agreements.
  • Create, process and send out the new colleague contracts, ensuring the colleague has read and accepted. Amending and re-offering contracts as and when required working with recruitment if needed.
  • Prioritise own workload in an efficient manner and anticipate problems.
  • Working closely with other internal teams to support and resolve problems.


  • Administrative experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Team-player and clear communicator.
  • Willingness to learn new processes.
  • To have a desire to provide the best experience for colleagues as possible.
