Role: Avionics Systems Engineer
Location: Cheltenham
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Up to £65/hour

To work as part of an integrated Systems team, over the full Systems 'V' design Cycle on multiple Displays NPI/Obsolescence projects.
Responsibilities:
- Development of systems plans and reports
* Execute tests in a modelling environment
* Execute tests in a lab environment
* Analysis test case results
* Write test reports
* Development of systems verification test cases
* Verification and Validation activities
* Requirements management/trace activities/validation
* Author various plans/test procedures/test reports.
Quals/Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, or equivalent knowledge, with significant experience in systems engineering especially Displays products
* Experience using DOORS for requirements capture and trace activities
* Knowledge of Dimensions & RTC
* Familiar with the MathWorks toolset (Matlab, Simulink, Simulink Test)
* Working knowledge of A825, A429 and A664 data buses
* Systems / high level software verification experience
* Programming / Scripting knowledge, i.e Python, c/c++/c#
* An understanding of embedded software and / or hardware engineering
Desired:
- knowledge and experience of Displays products
* Experienced in aviation, but would consider experience from other safety critical industries

* Knowledge of SYSML
