Our client is looking for an Accounting Specialist to add to their exciting and dynamic team. They are one of the largest global players in the field of GRM and EMS for the world Hospitality market. The Group pride themselves heavily in the service and support of its customers benefits in all phases of their projects, from consulting to engineering, to delivery and ongoing support of the completed project.

The Candidate will report to the Financial Controller, will be involved in carrying out all activities and obligations relating to Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and General Ledger.

The Accounting Specialist will be involved in the following activities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of office services to ensure the organization's administrative needs are met, including administering payroll

- Communicate with clients regarding the collection of outstanding balances due

- Issue invoices to clients

- Check bank statements, reconcile them with General Ledger entries, reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information

- Allocating incoming payments from Accounts Receivable and processing outgoing payments from Accounts Payable

- Responsible for the filling out of the monthly journals

- Manage the operations of office services to ensure the organization's administrative needs are met

- Place orders to obtain the necessary products from suppliers and checks their status

- Ensure the correct delivery of the products to the clients

- Oversee RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorisation)

Skills and Requirements

- Proven work experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role

- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation

- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Strong math and research skills

- Basic computer skills with knowledge of bookkeeping software

Full-time Permanent Role:

9am - 5.30pm, 5 days a week

Salary £33,000- £35,000

20 days holiday per year (not including bank holidays)
